We are looking forward to meeting with all of the families this month. Please view available days and times, then select an open slot and sign up for a parent-teacher conference.
Thank you to the families of Airra, Georgia, Andrew, Elliet, and Aidan R. (not pictured) for ordering books through Scholastic in November. Enjoy your fun new books! :)
This week in Room 23 we asked two 'essential questions' to grow our brains! First, we asked 'What can we do with a pomegranate?' Students suggested that we could 'roll it', 'throw and catch it'. After learning about this fruit, students learned that pomegranates can be eaten, juiced, and made into jelly Students shared their experiences about pomegarnates by writing an informational story. Second, we asked 'What can we do with wheat?' Students learned that wheat can be ground into flour and made into cookies. Ask your child how they tasted!
