Please send your child to school wearing tennis shoes and their favorite Disney t-shirt to celebrate Nate Mack’s Disney Spirit Day. There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, November 21-25, 2016 for Fall Break. Have a blessed Thanksgiving! We are grateful for each student in Room 23 and their families!
This is a short academic week that will be full of learning. There is NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, November 8th, for Election Day and Friday, November 11th, in honor of Veteran’s Day. Please take this time at home to practice with your child their first and last name, address, telephone number you want them to be able to know in an emergency, and 911 for an emergency. These personal safety skills are part of the kinder curriculum and vital for your child to know. Students will be assessed on this information at school next week. Homework packets are due on THURSDAY, November 10th. Please complete the checked activities on the Fast Start Poem with your child during the week. Thank You!
Room 23 kinders have been learning about making choices, individual rights and responsibilities as well as the importance of following rules. Students 'voted' for a presidential candidate and we tallied the results as a class. Next week we will discuss how our class voting compared to national voting.
