Thank you to those families who joined us for our Nate Mack PTO Harvest Festival. It was great to see you there. This week we will learn about our Star Student, Aidan. There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 28th, in observance of Nevada Day. Students are invited to wear Halloween costumes to school on Monday, October 31st. Please adhere to CCSD dress code guidelines:
*No masks may be worn to or in school. Students will be allowed to put their masks on just prior to the parade to wear them during the event. *Many costumes come with weapon-like toys (i.e. plastic guns, swords, light sabers, etc.). Please make sure these items stay at home as they’re not allowed on campus at all. All Nate Mack families are invited to attend Nate Mack’s annual Halloween Parade on Thursday, October 31st, at 1:15 p.m. For the parade, all classes will march once around the field. Nate Mack students will then perform the ‘Monster Mash’. Students will be dismissed from school at our regular time, 2:11. Please wait for students to be released with the regular bell. In addition, we are asking all parents, friends and families to utilize the areas outside the caution tape around the field for photos and videos. Thank you for adhering to these guidelines so we can ensure a safe, enjoyable celebration.
We will celebrate Kairo’s birthday this week and learn about Star Student, Bella. Thursday, October 20th, is Fall Picture Day. Please send your child to school wearing their brightest smile. If your child is ordering Fall pictures, please send the completed form, with payment to school by Thursday, in your child’s folder. Payment can also be made online. Friday, October 21st, is Harvest Festival. For more information, go to the Macksites Website. We look forward to seeing Room 23 families at this community event. Thank you to those families who brought puzzles to fill our classroom Harvest Festival Basket. We will have a great week in Room 23!
